BYOK stands for Bring Your Own Key. You connect the AI Assistant to your own supported AI provider account, API key, or locally authenticated provider tool. You pay that provider directly under its own pricing and terms. ComIO.Studio does not sell AI models, tokens, provider access, or usage credits, and it does not bill you per token.

Supported BYOK routes:

• an OpenRouter API key (one key, hundreds of models),
• a locally installed Claude Code CLI (signed in with your Claude account),
• a locally installed Codex CLI (signed in with your ChatGPT account),
• a locally installed Gemini CLI (using your own Google AI Studio API key).

The app does not accept raw OpenAI or Anthropic API keys directly — supported routes are OpenRouter or the official CLI agents listed above. The Gemini CLI route is the exception among the agents: it authenticates with your own Google API key rather than an account sign-in.

ProBaud also unlocks the local-model engine. You supply the model file to run on your device.

For the assistant, use your own supported provider route — an OpenRouter API key or a locally installed CLI agent (Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini) — or supply your own local model file and run it on your device. The app does not accept raw OpenAI or Anthropic API keys directly. ComIO.Studio does not provide or resell AI models, tokens, provider accounts, API access, or AI credits. The ProBaud purchase ($3.90/mo, $39/yr, or $99 lifetime) unlocks functionality in the app; any provider charges are separate.

The lifetime license may be limited to specific major versions as indicated at activation.
