⚖️ Usage Guidelines
Last Updated: June 15, 2026
These Usage Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service.
1. Scope
These Guidelines apply to ComIO.Studio, including the desktop application, session registration and license activation, website, support, and related services.
2. General rule
Use ComIO.Studio lawfully, safely, and responsibly, and only with systems you are allowed to access.
You are responsible for your devices, commands, macros, scripts, files, local settings, and the consequences of using them.
3. Do not abuse licenses or our services
You must not:
- share, sell, rent, publish, or bypass a license key or license credential;
- overload our website, license server, or infrastructure;
- attempt unauthorized access to our systems;
- bypass plan limits, paid-plan boundaries, session tokens, security limits, or update mechanisms;
- reverse engineer the Application’s security or activation mechanisms to bypass them, except where mandatory law allows it.
4. Prohibited use
You must not use ComIO.Studio or our services to:
- break the law or help others break the law, or infringe third-party rights;
- attack, overload, scan, disrupt, damage, or access systems without authorization;
- create, test, deploy, or operate malware, destructive code, or unauthorized exploit tools;
- submit content you do not have the right to submit;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights;
- harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or harm others, or hide identity for fraud or abuse;
- generate or operate unsafe instructions for real hardware without independent testing and safeguards.
5. Safety and hardware
ComIO.Studio can affect real devices.
You must not rely on the Application, AI Assistant, scripts, macros, commands, or generated code as the only safety measure.
Use independent safeguards before working with machines, actuators, firmware, industrial systems, or any environment where failure can cause damage.
6. AI output
Where your plan includes the AI Assistant, you must verify AI output before using it.
You are responsible for code, commands, configuration, and decisions made from AI suggestions. On ProBaud BYOK, which unlocks the AI Assistant, you are also responsible for following the terms of the AI provider you choose.
7. Information or promotional panel (Free plan)
The Free plan may include an information or promotional panel that shows content delivered by us or infrastructure we select.
You must not modify or bypass the panel using tools that break the integrity of the Application or these Terms. Standard operating system settings, such as blocking the Application’s internet access in a firewall, are not a breach by themselves.
8. Consequences
Violation of these Guidelines may result in warning, limitation of access, refusal of support, suspension or termination of access, or legal action where necessary, for example in case of abuse, license sharing, fraud, security risk, or unlawful use.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
